Hey folks,
I'm looking into the position of Flight Attendant with Delta. Is there any Delta FA's that could offer some insight on the job and schedules? I appreciate the feedback!

Quoting TPA36R (Thread starter): I'm looking into the position of Flight Attendant with Delta.
Well, you're catching the tail end of a hiring spree...go to delta.com and click "site map"...scroll to the bottom, about delta, career opportunities - and take it from there.
The flight attendant position can be a great career path. You've got to learn about Delta, what their "marketing" profile is, and even though it sounds cliche, you have got to love working with people.
The job of flight attendant is not all glamor...your interpersonal skills need to be good (prior customer contact experience helpful), another language also helpful but not mandatory, expect to be based in NY.

From what I can tell, the last DL flight attendant class started this month on the 13th. I don't believe DL has anymore new-hire FA classes scheduled currently.
And with the merger pending - that will probably hold true for quite some time.
