Same Airport, Terminal 1 - LH/AF/JL/KE each own an equal share in Terminal One LLC which owns and operates Terminal 1 - http://www.jfkterminalone.com

Always wonderers if this "last and final boarding call" is in fact THE last and final boarding call.

Cool, thanks for that

does any one airline own one terminal on its own? Other than BA.

Thanks

I believe that all of LHR's terminals are owned by a Spanish company, as well as LGW, EDI, GLA, and several other UK airports.

Not a foreign carrier but AFAIK UA owns Terminal One at O'Hare, if I remember right they own the building and leased the land that its built on for 99 years or some rather lengthy term.

I believe DLPMMM was referring to Ferrovial (the Spanish Company) that acquired BAA back in 2006.

LHR is operated by Heathrow Airport Ltd.

Heathrow Airport Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of BAA.

BAA is a wholly owned subsidiary of Airport Development and Investment Ltd (ADI).

ADI is 61 per cent owned by the Spanish company, Ferrrovial Infraestructures. Ferrovial's partners in ADI are the Canadian company Caisse de dept et placement du Quebec and GIC Special Investments Pte Ltd. I am not sure of the nationality of this last company but it is not British.

There's an outstanding chance that MDW will become private in the next couple of years, and a pretty good chance that the owner (which will likely actually be a long term lessee) will be foreign.
