Dear WorldTraveller,

B-HLN is not going to have a 3-class configuration, but surely, PTVs are available in economy class.

The following aircraft are to be installed with new first class cabins.

Scheduled Delivery time:
July 2001: B-HLP, B-HLQ
August 2001: B-HLR
Sept 2001: B-HLS

Hope the information above helps.

Regards,

CX 4ever

B-HLO will arrive at the end of March, its line number 393.

They also have 3 more new A340-300's coming this year + the first three SQ A340-300's are going to CX.

Hi, are those A343 from SIA to CX the same as those are currently in CX's fleet? Cause I know that those A340-300E from SIA are sort of different from stardand A340. They should have more range and MTOW. Correct me if I am wrong

I flew on CX's A330 and B777, both on SIN-CDK routes and I love both!!! Too bad that CX's 772s don't have ptv in the economy class......

I thought both CX and SQ operate the A340-300E, which is the version with higher take off weights. So I think they should both have the same range.

Are these SQ 340s going to be fully refurbished to CX standards? Or are they just going to be used temporarily?

What A330 routes will justify a Betsy cabin? Most 330 flights are so short, there is little time to have a full F class meal service and sleep. In other words, what is the rationale for putting sleepers on a regional aircraft?

HKG-DEL won't be that short. Not sure what the flying time is. Can't be bothered to check at the moment.
HKG-Perth must be fairly long too.

Hugo,

How do you know about the CX 330's with the Betsy seats ??. There should be 4 with these seats.
