Anyone know what they're doing there? They had an A320 parked over by Signature Aviation (saw when we landed aorunf 8PM tonight).

I cannot believe how much has changed since I dispatched a few years ago. I remember NYC-DC was on an FAA preferred route and you weren't supposed to fly any higher that 18k feet. This shows the a/c flew 26k feet.

They filed a flight plan for 26k feet but never made it above FL220, and that was only for about 3 minutes, according to the track log... http://flightaware.com/live/flight/J.../20080518/1535Z/KEWR/KDCA/tracklog
