Hey there,
after six years of ceasing operations on this route (HAM-BER) Lufthansa offers a special flight the 31/05 from HAM to SXF for 59EUR total. The price includes also the entrance fee for the ILA in Berlin.
Flight departs HAM 09.15 and arrives SXF 10.00; flightnumber LH306 and bookable online on lufthansa.com

great opportunity to fly on this route as no airline operates this route anymore

Do you have a link to this offer?

Couldn't find it on lufthansa.com.

And: how are people supposed to get back to HAM?

Aircraft is B737-500 D-ABJE which is supposed to undergo a C-Check at Lufthansa Technik SXF.

A rather clever move of LH to recover some cost of this ferry flight  Wink

As you say, I'm going to the ILA, taking the train to Berlin from Hamburg despite working on LH HAM Base...its definitely faster and not more expensive  Wink

correct!
the visitors could witness the beginning of this check, "simple" things like cleaning an engine, maintance the gears or whatever they mean with "simple"  Smile

the return flight is not covered, simply an one-way flight  Smile
