Kiev - London Luton - 3 flights/week
Kiev - Dortmund - 3 flights/week
Kiev - Milan Bergamo - 3 flights/week

Those three are subject to regulatory approval. If permitted, they'll complement Wizz's altered* domestic Ukraine routes:

Kiev - Lviv 6 flights/week 4 flights/week
Kiev - Odessa 6 flights/week 4 flights/week
Kiev - Simferopol 8 flights/week 4 flights/week
Simferopol - Lviv 8 flights/week 4 flights/week

* "The initially planned services to Kharkov and Zaporozhie will be temporariliy suspended due to airport slot constraints and higher passenger demand on other routes."

Right now Wizz has 17 Airbus A320s with an additional 80 on order.

Not all of us can be heroes, some of us can only stand on the sidewalk and clap as they go by.

Nah, maybe they got a very good offer because of they placed a huge order and will sell the birds/slots and make some good money. Ask Pe@rson...FR did/does the same with Boeing.

80 aircraft on order!!!! They struggle to maintain routes as it is. they just cut a load of ex UK routes so where are they going to operate their 100 aircraft?

As mentioned above, there's no reason why they can't sell on/lease excess aircraft. I'm sure there's money in it, and there would be plenty of demand for brand new A320s if they were to go down that road.

As for them starting flights from Ukraine, it seems a good move, as there is little if any LCC competition in the Ukraine. What are fares like at the moment?

Ordinarily expensive/very expensive. Low fares and much greater value-for-money will revolutionise travel between those cities and thus stimulate demand and widen the markets.

What's the level of VFR traffic between Kiev and London, Dusseldorf/Dortmund/Cologne areas, and Milan? Low fares can really stimulate VFR markets.

Not available if you do it from a German IP. Interesting, since there is a German route. If you change it to the English site, it works. Very strange, but that explains my "blindness". Big grin

Looks as if they are cutting their services from LTN-ZAG from mid September.
