It has been announced over the Holiday weekend that all full time HA employees (that were employed in 2007) will receive a bonus check equal to 1.5% of their entire earnings (In 2007) or $500.00. Whichever is greater! HA CEO Mark Dunkerley said in a memo that he wanted to thank all employees for their hard work during these turbulent times in our industry. He also noted that the money will be paid to employees from the recent $52 Million dollar settlement that HA received from their successful lawsuit against Mesa Airlines, the parent co. of Go! Airlines.
First uncle Sam sends me a stimulus check and now this unexpected surprise. Sweet!!!

Wow, I've never heard of a company giving a lawsuit settlement against unfair competitive actions to its employees. It looks like Hawaiian management really wanted to give back to its employees and they got a chance. Excellent job to them. Bonus checks are always appreciated. I know I love it when I get my yearly bonus in February!

Just shows that their are some good Airline management people out in the avation world that know that all the employees who stuck with the Airline during their rough time. Deserve a reward for their hardwork in helping bring the Airline back above water.
