Glad these two pinheads have been identified and are being brought to justice.
Quote: SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - Two California men were indicted yesterday on federal charges of making separate bomb threats, one against Delta Air Lines and the other against the U.S. Embassy in Italy.
Apun Mahapatra is charged with threatening to destroy an aircraft. The 31-year-old Sacramento man allegedly called a Delta operator May 1st to say that a plane leaving Mumbai, India, for Atlanta should be canceled because of a "hijack" and "bomb blast."
Lauren Horwood, a spokeswoman for the U.S. Attorney's office in Sacramento said Mahapatra apparently had a dispute with someone he thought was on the plane.
Carlos Ramos, who is 22 and lives in Dixon, a farming community and suburb between Sacramento and San Francisco, is charged with sending an October 2007 e-mail threatening to destroy the embassy in Rome.
