Has anyone flown US AIRWAYS recently?

How are they? Do they lose luggage often? Have a bad rep?

They have a pretty good looking flight from PVD-SEA that I am looking at.

I am wondering about the FA's and also the quality of the food and cabin.

The long flight I would be on is a 757 and would almost be coast to coast so inflight ammenities will be a plus.

I've heard good things about US Airways. However, my friend would say otherwise. He calls them US Scareways.

I've flown USAirways dozens of times -- never without a problem, other than weather-related. I endorse them highly. I've been on several 757 transcons, all with good service. If it's PIT you're connecting through, it's a wonderful hub.

I fly US Airways all the time and have flown on 757 numerous times coast to coast from Philadelphia. They have great service and great food, espicially in first class. I have never lost a piece of luggage with them and i don't think that they have a bad rep. at all

I fly US Airways often. TF Green Field in Providence, RI is really a beautiful airport, with a sparkling new terminal and no crowds. Philly and Pittsburgh are really nice airports too, I assume you are connecting in one of those places. Philly's new food court between terminals B and C is really nice. I recommend the Bourbon Chicken if you are hungry during the layover (it is at the chinese place near the entrance to the food court). Both Philly and PIT have nice shops.

I have found service to be excellent on US Airways, especially in First Class. You will probably get a movie and maybe some sitcoms or CNN. Have a great trip!

And by the way, they have never lost my bags

Fly US Airways!

US AIRWAYS it is then

That who I'll buy my ticket on.

I used to hate PVD but the new terminal is wonderful and peaceful and since prices keep coming down it makes no sense to treck all the way to Logan and deal with those EVIL cabbies.

I do connect thru Pittsburgh so I look forward to seeing the airport and the hub

Thanks again
