From 25th March, Lufthansa Cityline will operate daily services between NCL and Dusseldorf using CRJ a/c. More information available at the Newcastle Airport website. I think this will be a successful route. Any thoughts on this?
BTW Previously, between 1993 and 1999, Eurowings and Gill Airways served this route under a codeshare agreement.

Anyone wanna give there opinion on how successful they think this flight will be?
So on March 25th @ NCL, we have DUS,ORK,and DUB services beginning with an ERJ145 being put onto the CPH route instead of the DH8 currently used.
Also in the summer, BRAL will begin daily Oslo services using ERJ145 a/c.
So looks like a busy period @ NCL.

Thom@s, you dont know what an EMB RJ145 looks like??? Check out some of the pics in here. Oh yeah, you want to avoid the F50 when you go to NCL in the summer, Im sure BU still use a 737 on the sunday afternoon flight SVG-NCL-SVG, or you could get the BRAL ERJ145 from Oslo.

Eurowings were not too impressed with their experiences in NCL, either with their own metal or with the Gill codeshare. With the schedule being similar, my concern is that LH has increased the costs of the operation using the nice mini-jet, but not able to squeeze that much yield out of the market.

Yeah, I found that out too. We've checked the flights, and unless something else turns out to be better (which I think is very unlikely), We will be cruising off to NCL in a BU 737-500 this summer.
So long F50. (Maybe another time. )
I owe you one GKirk. Thanks.

No probs, you should at least try the nifty fifty across the North Sea for the comedy factor. By the way I hate the Norweigan Air Shuttle livery, it looks so old
