Hey guys

Just a question. I'm looking into possibly changing my CO ticket for this coming Wednesday and was looking at the alternatives using OnePass miles. On there, CO listed "DL9693" from SLC-SEA. The flight number seemed wacked, but it's listed on Delta.com as well, and available for purchase. The flight is operated by Delta metal using a 737-800 but has no history, sans this flight number being used on 5/25 from ATL-LAX.

Can anyone shed any insight about this?

Thanks,
JBLU

Looks like an extra section, it shows 9 F/C and 56Y class seats open.
Probably need the A/C in SEA for a charter or something.

Could it possibly then be going to PAE for interior mods?

This is in the extra section range for DL flights operated by DL. I suspect that they need the aircraft in SEA or for some reason the aircraft will be making an extra run to SLC for something and they're just trying to make some money repositioning it back to SEA for its regular rounds.

Could be a charter for the Mariners or the Angels, they are playing eachother through Wednesday. Seattle will head to BOS and the Angels will head to OAK. Could be for either one.

This definitely is an extra section.....It is a rev pax flt from SLC to SEA..then it turns into
a charter for the LA angels baseball team to take them down to Oakland Ca.
