As I heard, African Star Airways will start operations by the middle of this year but where do they get the 2 B747-300s from? The last ones which they wanted to buy from SIA are already sold to Air Atlanta Icelandic.
Does anybody know where they buy/lease this planes?

I thought they already had them. It must be costing a lot to keep them on the ground not doing anything. And what happend to the TIE 743? Maybe they got one of them.

Where does African Star propose to fly? Out of South Africa I presume? I've never heard of this startup. Thanks for any background info.
