Ground Stop In Denver?

GPI tower has stopped a United Connection flight due to Denver Groundstop. Anyone know why?

Weather.....?????? Thunderstorms...??? Could also be Flow Control... They will only take aircraft already in the air in-route and are asking aircraft scheduled to take off for DENt to hold up so they don't get over wellmed.

Its getting pretty stormy in Colorado today. From the looks out the window, everything eastbound is going to be delayed, while they route everyone out the south and north gates and bring people in the the NW and SW gates.

For as big as an airport as DEN is, things can get gummed up pretty quickly when thunderstorms park themselves across one or two of the gates.
