Which airplanes do you think look best in which liveries? Here are my favorites:

717: TWA
727: Delta (all)
737: Continental
747: British Airways, Virgin Atlantic
757: Delta
767: Continental (especially the -400's)
777: Continental, Delta (new)

A300: Eastern
A310: Emirates
A320: United
A330: Cathay Pacific
A340: Air France, Air Canada

DC-10: British Airways
MD-11: Alitalia

As you might be able to tell I kind of like Delta's liveries best.

I think the 757 looks the best in AA colors.I like the MD11's and 767's in Delta's old colors. Twa's 767 look good also.

717 would indeed be TWA...
747 would be Virgin Atlantic
777 would be Continental

The others...

707 Royal Jordanian

MD-11 KLM or Finnair (new livery)

The tailfin design of South African is the best ever: colorful, speedy and the best perception of the country of origin. The fuselage of SA is very poor, so South African has to my opinion not the best all over livery. Nice present liveries (in matter of design and style): SAS, US•Airways, , Northwest, Continental. US carriers has been always favorite to me because they are taking care their corporate image as the best of the world.
