Did a quick search on the topic and I couldn't see, anything so please forgive me if it has already been brought up;

Emirates is to refresh their uniform for the introduction of the A380, with completely new uniforms for the blokes and slight changes for the girls. The new uniforms will feature only on the A380 crews initially before all crew begin wearing them next year.
I was sent these pics by a friend;

Looks good to me I like the fact that everything, matches completely shoes inclusive, and it still retains that EK style

The tie looks very much like those of Swiss Crew!
And the scarf for the guys looks a bit too feminine for my taste. I wouldn't wear it. But I like it overall.

.....up there with the best!

i saw that on the employee publication "Safar", i think its about time we changed the uniform. i just thought that they could have gone with two stripes on the blazer cuffs for the men.

so smi, are you ground staff with us (EK)?

hmmm...the first photo...a jacket collar with red stripe...it looks like a doorman's jacket. Anyway, it's nice uniform...much better than old one!

The only thing I do not like about EK is the uniform. I was hoping they would change them and they did but i am quite disappointed. The new uniform is still a bit boring...

Only last week when travelling on EK to HKG from BHX, did I think to myself that the uniform was looking a little tired and 'sack like'...!

Slight changes, but looks quite nice!

Quoting Johruk (Reply 8):

I remember hearing the old uniform was worn a size or to to big to ensure a sac like look so that the uniform wasn't 'sexy' in nature, not sure how true this is?
I think it looks good and the vest is a big improvement over the other apron thing.

I agree European but still the whole men's coat and scarf is very feminine

Quoting Hamad (Reply 5):

Hammad is the red piping on the jacket for cabin crew and the normal jacket without the red for ground staff or is that just for a duty officer/cargo/maintenace and groud staff stuck with the red piping??

Very nice indeed. Much better than the current uniform where the girls' blouses tend to crease and look tired; and where the guy's blazers look so much like SQ junior crew's. The new ones make them look sharp at least.

Are the male pursers getting a darker uniform, like the females? At least for the males it's a single-breasted rather than their current double-breasted on which made all of them seem like they were swimming in them!

As for the female ones, it does seem to make it a bit more "feminine" with the construction and the red-lining.
