Ticketor,
There was another thread on this board yesterday afternoon pointing to that discussion (when it was just getting started). It was summarily deleted. Apparently, Johan doesn't want the non-photographers talking about the subject at this time. Note that in his second post on that thread, he says that non-photographers will get to speak on the issue after the photographers have.
At first, I was a bit miffed when I read this, but then, I realized that he's just trying to keep order and set priorities during this evaluation process. When the time's right, we'll get our say. Let things take their course, and we'll see what happens.

Just so you know, **** starts with an H, not an F.
And yes, N202PA, I saw that, but this is a major change, and it´s not a good one, so I think as many people as possible should know about it.
I seriously doubt that many of the photographers mind that people use the pictures as wallpapers or whatever, if they did, they would hardly upload them here, would they?

There are two large sticking points with that software:
- No Mac/Linux support, although Johan says it won't be implemented until Mac support begins
- There is a distinct possibility that the plug-in required to view the photos won't make it through corporate firewalls, which would preclude at-work surfers from viewing photos - that one sucks...
