Etihad (EY) and Jet Airways (9W) have today signed a codeshare and frequent flyer partnership agreement
"With this agreement, Etihad Airways will place its two letter “EY” code on all Jet Airways’ daily flights between Delhi and Mumbai to Abu Dhabi. In turn, Jet Airways will place its ‘9W’ code on the daily services operated by Etihad Airways on the same routes as well as Etihad Airways operated services between Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram and Abu Dhabi. The new code-share services will be available for sale effective June 16, 2008. "

Would be great if they both went to Skyteam also. Please tell me what is OneWorld going to do with RJ if a deal like this goes through?

Nothing - I dont see the problem. EY's network doesnt really overlap that much with RJs' - the latter tends to be more O&D for AMM itself as opposed to AUH which is mainly transit. I think they would work quite nicely to be honest.
