Ia Orana all !

Some of you may have noticed that Air France has now contracted Pepsi as its soft drinks provider.
We will now serve Pepsi, Pepsi Max, Seven-UP, Schweppes Tonic and Schweppes Agrum' instead of the Coke products. For a few weeks you will notice that both products will be served while Coca-Cola stocks are finished.

I was very surprised by this decision as we went from Pepsi to Coke some years ago after we decided to join forces with DL and created SkyTEAM.
I am sure we tendered the contracts for renewal and Pepsi offered the better deal and money is money these days.
You will noticed that Pepsi created a new "livery" for the AF cans with a few symbols summing up AF such as the eiffel tower, the euro sign, airplanes etc...

Happy Flying,

AF Cabin Crew

AF was Pepsi before SkyTeam, I know NW was Pepsi while in SkyTeam but I can't remember if they switched. Yes, it all comes down to prices.

As long as they continue serving Champagne, Cognac and Pastis on board, I couldn't care less about the "Colas"... Big grin

Of all the tortures airlines have invented for the voluntary paying slaves, this is the easiest one.

NW still serves Pepsi Cola products at the present time.

I remember that they used to serve pepsi back in 2002. When i flew with them in 2005 and 2008 they served coke. I'm flying with AF next week so it will be interesting to see what they serve. If i remember it correctly AF have had Schweppes at the same times as they had coke, or did they serve Kinely, can anyone confirm? Does anyone know if AF have Schweppes ginger ale?

Hello LH4116 !

We went from Pepsi to Coke around 2002 and back to Pepsi in june 2008.
You will get either full Pepsi offer or a mix of both on your flights for the next few weeks.
We do not carry any kind of ginger ale on our planes.
we had Schewppes Tonic at the same time as Coke and then changed to another brand (don't remember which one tho.)

KLMCedric,

Yes indeed, it will be Pepsi for both AF and KL as the tender contract is for both carriers.

Happy Flying,

AF Cabin Crew

Too bad, because at KLM we now have Coke Zero & Sprite Zero, which I love.

Looks like AF opted not to renew the contract that all the SkyTeam carriers signed with Coca-Cola in 2002 (contract was opened up again last year).

At least one SkyTeam carrier will be going to Coca-Cola in the near future (as soon as one merger is finalized)

Great...

With my food allergies I can drink Pepsi, but not Coke.

Now is their anywhere I am flying that I could use AF...?

So Far Midwest does well for most locations I fly to.
