Hey guys,
I was coming in to class, and all of the sudden my eyes popped out as I saw a JetBlue Embraer taxiing down to Runway 7L. Then it took off heading north. I managed to take some cheap pics with my cellphone, but are they flying here???
Those would be wonderful news.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks Roberto!
Quoting Apodino (Reply 2): Apparently it was a diversion. It was a BOS-JAX flight that couldn't get into JAX
due to getting hammered with TStorms, so they visited DAB.
Ha! Good I didn't have my cross country to JAX today, weather in the whole northern side of Florida is like crap now!
Lucky I got that sight today. I wish B6 could start coming here now that CO is leaving.
Cheers and thanks.

There have been two JetBlue diversions to DAB in the past three days. On Monday there was an A320 bound to Orlando from Puerto Rico that diverted here, along with a couple Delta Connection CRJs, becuase of the thunderstorms.

It was funny: When they landed and parked in a remote area, ARFF follow up behind them because it's airport policy to have ARFF standby if there is an aircraft on the ramp with people in it but not at the jetway, especially if it's going to be fueled. When the pulled up, the pilot opened his window and was yelling at ops that they didn't need ARFF because there wasn't an emergency. Ops explained that it wasn't for an emergency.
