It seems unbelievable but it happened today @ VRN apt: a German journalist that was late with his AirDolomiti Flight to Vienna made a call to the police telling them that a bomb was on the plane...

The police investigated a little bit with the GMS operators and rapidly found the guilty... now he has been denounced to the authorities... the flight was obviously delayed and others were diverted...

This is the news (at the moment only in Italian)

Quite the opposite happened in DUS in 2003:

A German student made a false bomb threat, because she did NOT want to fly to the Canary Islands with her boyfriend.
