I'm flying to MCI via MKE on Wednesday on YX, and I was wondering if it's possible to go to the other concourses even though there's a security checkpoint at each entrance, and my boarding pass is for an airline not in that terminal. I not only want to explore, but eat at Quiznos instead of the other stuff offered out in D or the main hall.

Unless you get a really inattentive TSA agent, you will likely only be limited to D. Definitely check out the museum and the used book store (both in the main terminal pre-security), though.

Been through the museum (twice), and got two books at the store already, but am definitely going back! I blame that store for making me nearly miss my flight to MCI last year Big grin

I wonder how that sit-in restaurant is...

I've tried this in LAS, LAX, PHX and MCO with success, however, prepare to be asked why your going to that concourse. Also, check the lines before you leave the secured area, if they are really long and you don't have that much time, don't do it.
