Its hard to Make a 777 look bad, whatever the airline it paints or wears the metal well as in AA.

Beautiful airplane!

This caught me in surprise, I wasn´t expecting it was going to be painted so soon.

Again, the new TAM livery is really growing in me, I really like it.

I just miss the red engines from the old one. And the long fuselage with the short name/ no cheatline is too white.

Looks like TAM are using the legend "The Magic Red Carpet" under the cockpit windows.
Air India have also used the term "Magic Carpet" in the 1950-60s for advertising their flights.

I like the TAM livery, it looks sharp.

We saw from your earlier photos that MUA is line no 727. Are you able to tell us what the line numbers are for MUB and MUC? Thanks.

Just checked in TAM's website that they have signed a memorandum of understanding with Swiss in order to commence code share & FFP agreements.

Looks like TAM road path to *Alliance is inevitable!!!!

I just don't understand the introduction of blue to their livery. The bird could have been achieved without the other colour element. I don't like it and it doesn't look Brazilian to me.

Respect yr opinion but LH colours does not have anything related to Germany. This is just an example but there are many others.
Nowhere is written that the colour scheme of an airline must remit to its origin country.

Maybe it is the angle of the photo, but the wing tips look rather flat, I have the impression the 77W had it slightly more bent?

Nice colors. I hope to see it one day, but keep the A345 to FRA, it is the only 345 we have here...

25 Neo : When will JJ introduce this new birds into service? Any dates??? Rgs, Neo
26 Coa747 : I actually saw that airplane leave PDX in her new paint yesterday on her way back to Paine Field from my office window. Saw it takeoff like a rocket f
27 BMIFlyer : Fantastic Congrats to TAM
28 DTWAGENT : Nice pic of this aircraft....
29 JJMNGR : Pay, but pray a lot!!! They will leave FRA to MXP... September into FRA. There will be some spot flights during August.SCL will have some flights...b
30 Hardiwv : SCL needs another GRU-SCL operated by TAM, but no frequency available.
31 FlyLKU : Is it even possible to paint a 777 ugly? Nice airplane.
32 TR763 : I´ll write the same thing I wrote in another forum: IT´S A DREAM TO SEE TAM GOING BOEING. Even if the colorscheme is not the most beautiful, the 77W
33 JJMNGR : Never said aditional frequencies. It will be a change from A332 into B77W
34 EA772LR : Wow! Truly a beautiful aircraft. Thanks for sharing RobK!
35 OHLHD : Very nice paint on this aircraft! I like the Brazil on the engines.
36 Midcon385 : That is one beautiful Triple Seven! Tim
37 C010T3 : Actually, they are reintroducing blue to the livery.
38 Tonytifao : Are you serious?
39 MotorHussy : And I respect yours too, but I wasn't really meaning that the colour made it look less Brazilian, just the look and feel of the logo and livery - it
40 Post contains links and images MotorHussy : Please disregard my previous question. View Large View MediumPhoto © Carlos A. Morillo Doria I prefer the old darker blue, but do like the shape
41 Ota1 : Well with LH it's blue and yellow not black and the logo is showing a crane, not an eagle The crane was chosen because of it's elegance ... no link t
42 Ota1 : Oh, I forgot... TAM's 77W looks great in the new livery!!! Love it!!!
43 Jmbarros12 : Totally agree. TAM´s new livery looks fantastic, but the 77W makes its job easier. To me, it´s the most beautiful aircraft ever built. Sds, João M
44 C010T3 : Really? I actually prefer the 772 and the 744.
45 WestWing : Now the second TAM 77W (only rudder painted) is also visible in the PAE photos on Matt Cawby's site.
46 SXDFC : Imagine seeing these colors on a 73NG... gives ya something to think! That is true, but its also some airlines try to do at least. But in any case you
47 Jmbarros12 : Really. I also like the B744 and the MD11, but the B77W (more than the B772 is the greatest one. Yes, it´s in the left corner of the wide picture. I

49 WFM : Great photos. I am going to Brazil in October, probably via FRA, so maybe there is a chance that it will 77W flying to GRU..... Cheers Michael
50 JJMNGR : In OCT the B77W will be fully implemented into FRA route so you will get this lucky.
51 Hardiwv : FRA is a winner in TAM system. I remember quite well that many were pessimistic about TAM GRU-FRA, which now is TAM flagship route and therefore will
52 JJMNGR : A345 will not leave the fleet as nobody want this aircraft anymore and there is no other similar available in the market so A345 will be kept in the f
53 Jfk777 : I can't wait to see the Qantas 777 ifthey order 77W as have been rumored recently with the price of fuel.
54 PZ : Sad to see the MD11 leaving... I'll miss seeing MD11s in GRU
55 Hardiwv : Thanks for this relevant information. I am happy to see this dinosaur leave TAM fleet. Honestly, even with a complete refit this type of aircraft is
56 Jfk777 : Boeing planes at TAM , it took a long time but finally. 77W what a bird she is, JFK to HKG nonstop.
57 KochamLOT : what is up with tam switching their long haul fleets?
58 Donzilasse : JJMNGR Any news about the GIG/MIA and the 767,s. Haven't seen anything on the TAM site yet to book and I thought it was scheduled for this fall. Lasse
59 MIAMIx707 : Does JJ still have the MD11? cheers
60 JJMNGR : The first B763 already delivered and it is flying this evening from GIG to GRU aqnd first flights will be in 02 days. Tomorrow the B763 will be at GRU
61 Hardiwv : You mean TAM will use the B763 for JFK-GIG? Anyway, thanks for the updates. I assume the bird could also be used for EZE routes. Rgs,
62 Post contains links Jmbarros12 : Here is a nice compilation of PT-MUA pictures, made by Victor Brunella. http://br.youtube.com/watch?v=4pFrAdx7qzM&feature=related Sds, João Marcelo
63 Donzilasse : JJMNGR Thanks for the update. That is a tight schedule but I will look forward to this addition between MIA and Brazil. In fact now when we have schoo
64 JJMNGR : Guys, I just got the very first photos os PT-MSU, the very first B763ER of TAM, which did the first flight last night GIG/GRU, but I don´t know what
65 MotorHussy : Thanks, I sit duly corrected, but have to say, the styling of the 'crane' is very very Gothic German.
66 Ota1 : No problem! Actually thinking LH's logo was an eagle is one of the better misinterprations. I have heared of people thinking it was a flying fork...
