Delta Pacific Routes From LAX.....Wow!

It looks like the load factors out of LAX with Delta to the Trans-Pacific destinations are running very high. I tried booking a flight 3 weeks from now and there is very little seating left.

AA wants to do JFK or EWR-NRT. There is a big market there. All airlines except DL and CO use the 747-400 on it and as I understand, as a rule most flights go off 60% full.

ANA flies JFK-NRT.

I expect Delta, when they order some more 777s, will commence service to SEL, and then go from there. I also foresee a South Pacific service, maybe LAX-SYD-MEL on the 777.
