It has been a very long time since I have asked such question, however, does anyone know if there are still any Delta aircraft with cloth seats?
I know that the MD-88s, MD-90s, and 757s have been completed for a while now, as they were among the first types to recieve the mods. The 777s have been completed as well. According to this site, all of the domestic 767-300s now have the slimline seats, which are leather. It also states that all of the 767-300ERs have received the mods as well. However, I see a few inaccuracies in that site. The site lists only two 73Ys (new seats, no AVOD/winglets), and it also states that all of the 763ERs now have the LCDs in Economy.
If I would guess that if any of Delta's aircraft still have the cloth seats, I would probably guess that there might be a few 738s and domestic 767-400ERs that still have them. Does anyone have a real answer though?

I'm not sure if there are still any out there. I haven't come across a 738 with cloth in a while. You are correct that that would be one of the fleets left. I also think quite a few non AVOD 738 have the new seats.

Yes, there are quite a few 737-800s without AVOD/winglets that have recieved the new Weber 5751 slimline seats. They are denoted as "73Y". The list on that site is a bit behind on these aircraft.
What about the seven remaining 767-400ERs in domestic configuration? There might still be at least one with the cloth interior.

I was on a 738 CVG-BOS probably about three months ago that still had the cloth seats -- I was actually a bit shocked to see the cloth seats.

I can't attest to it being recent, but in later 2007 I flew ATL-LAS on a cloth seat 764. Probably long since retrofitted by now.

I was surprised as well when a 738 came in one night and had cloth seats still. I thought they got rid of them all but I assumed wrong.

Do you know the registration for the aircraft? Ships 1804-1810 (N828MH-N834MH) are still in domestic configuration. These will be converted to international configuration in 2009, and the Thompson Solutions Vantage sleeper suites will probably make their debut on these aircraft. Because these aircraft will eventually be converted to international configuration anyway, I wouldn't be suprised if at least one of them still had the cloth seats. Delta was rather slow in refurbishing the domestic 767-300s, as they were all slated to receive the new slimline seats and PTVs.

The 738's with cloth were the planes in line to get AVOD. All of those have been completed.

Are you sure about this? As far as what I know, the ships that have and will get winglets/AVOD are ships 3744-3773 (the newest 738s), regardless of what interior was previously installed.

1337Delta is correct. Only the 30 newest (28 current, plus 2 orders) got winglets/AVOD. There were several older 738s that still had cloth seats up until recently.
But I just checked and ALL 738s are now 73Hs or 73Ys (w/ and w/o winglets/AVOD, respectively). This means all our 737s have slimline leather seats with a 16F/144Y configuration. Enjoy!
