In addition, the FLL service stops on 11-16-08 for the winter; ZX's reservations are only open right now thru late April 2009 and the FLL service does not reappear by that time. The assumption is that when the rez window is extended into next summer (probably later this year?) the FLL flights will start again.
(To add to Goldcrest's remarks, Zoom is now able to carry local traffic between BDA and FLL which perhaps makes the Bermuda-stop on all FLL flights more bearable for ZX.)
The term "OK" was used by a reliable source at Zoom to describe the FLL operation.

Quoting MAH4546 (Reply 3): Zoom probably won't be around next summer, so it doesn't matter much.
I make you wrong, you really have got it in for them haven't you? Why?
They have the financial backing (unlike sayy, Silverjet) of one of the largest banks in the UK, plustheir owners are worth around £300 million a priece, so I'm sure they will struggle through!

Have it "in for them?"
I don't wish them ill, I'm just stating the most likely scenario.
If they survive it, good for them. I have absolutely nothing against them. I've never flown them. I just realize that sub-$500 fares from San Diego to London aren't going to make a dime in today's environments, nor are the cheap fares from Fort Lauderdale to London. And those cheap fares were available as recently as a month ago.
I am entirely neutral towards Zoom. I am also realistic.
If Zoom survives, good for them for being able to do what most other start-ups can't. And I'll be wrong, but I couldn't care less if I end up being wrong, everybody is once in a while.

Please...Eos, MaxJet, Skybus...they were all well funded by huge banks (especially Skybus). That got them nowhere.
