So where is CX placing the utilization of their 77W's currently?

I believe they now have 8 of 30 orders and still hold options for (18) more.

What I wanted to know is how are they utilizing their new planes and on what routes besides YYZ & JFK currently.

I believe from talking to CX flyboy that Cathay's plans are to replace all routes to North America with the 77W.

YYZ
YVR
JFK
SFO
LAX

Still any plans of expansion in North America... ORD or DFW?

Im guessing that these aircraft will be replacing the A340s? Although it seems that they are also doing routes that the 744s then flew on as well it seems

I believe expansion plans have been delayed to the US for the time being because of the fuel situation. priority now is to replace as many of the 744s on the North American routes with 77Ws before any 77Ws are used to launch new routes.

Why the heck haven't they jumped on DFW or ORD given their marriage to AA?  confused
