It would be interesting to see what other pax on the plane say. Did she indeed not let the bag go into the overhead (as per AAs claim?) What was exactly happening with the seat belt? "This has to be tight" -- OK, I have to be honest....I've had mine loose more than once and never has an FA said anything to me. Sounds strange.....as AWACSooner says, I suspect truth in the middle.

What makes this probably a little bit different too beyond the normal screaming kid on a plane story is that he is autistic. The flight attendant was probably understandably freaked out. Shame to see, but I suppose it would be a legitimate disruption. I concur that the truth probably does lie in the middle as most inflight disruption stories do.
