Quoting B764 (Reply 3): It's a shame that the clinic is builiding a facility in Abu Dhabi. This will probably eliminate the need for wealthy middle east patients to fly to CLE.
Abu Dhabi is supposed to be the first of several (six?) facilities in the UAE.
Some trips will continue. A lot of these cases depend on the interdisciplinary skill, which is not all that portable. Plus the Clinic just got the Hellenic Heart Program, which will bring in a good number of Greek pediatric heart cases, although these children probably won't be able to commandeer their own jumbos for the trip.
I love long German words like 'Freundschaftsbezeigungen'.
