I've been looking for the registration of a NW DC-10-40 that I flew on. I flew a NW DC-10-40 MSP-MCO winter break in 2000.

Looking at photos on a.net I found a NW DC-10-40 at MCO in March 2000. The registration was N147US. I saw photos on N147US parked at Greenwood, Mississippi. Has it been scrapped? Was there another DC-10-40 flying MSP-MCO winter break 2000 (if there was can I see the registration?)

Do you happen to know what day it was, then it would be possible to look up the exact aircraft, also it would help if you had flight number and destination city.

I don't know the exact date or flight number. The destination was Orlando (MCO). We diverted to RSW for a fuel stop because we were circling Orlando because of thunderstorms.

Generally speaking, if it has gone to Greenwood, you can assume it is finished!

by visiting this page of the BTS, clicking 'arrivals' in this case, and then filling in all the other relevant information.

http://www.bts.gov/programs/airline_...rmation/airline_ontime_statistics/

In the case discussed here a date is pretty important, flight number not so much as a bit of detective work will get you there.

Have a think about the date.. all the NW data is in there for 2000

There is photo taken in January of 2003 here at A-net of N147US at Greedwood with the doors off and rudderremoved. I would guess its been beer-canned by now.
Go to photos, set at McDonnell Douglas DC10, scroll in USA, Mississippi, Greenwood and there are two and 1/2 pages of NW and CO diesal tens.

safe

According to airfleets.net, DC-10-40 N147US was scrapped in September, 2005.

I have an old book (pre-computer era days!) from 1997 that lists the worlds' airline fleet list. These are the DC-10-40's that NW had in their fleet in this book, and with airfleets.net, their status:

N133JC Stored - Sold to Amcorp 8/2004
N141US Scrapped (date unknown)
N144JC Stored - Sold to Amcorp 8/2004
N145US Scrapped 9/2005
N146US Stored
N147US Scrapped 9/2005
N148US Scrapped 9/2005
N149US Scrapped 9/2005
N150US Scrapped
N151US Stored
N152US Scrapped
N153US Scrapped
N154US Scrapped
N155US Stored
N156US Stored
N157US Scrapped
N158US Stored
N159US Stored
N160US Scrapped
N161US Scrapped
N162US Scrapped

That's all the information I could find.

Unfortunately not that I'm aware of. Individual aviation societies (e.g LGW) and spotter groups (STN, LHR/LGW) have movements pages updated with ACARS gathered data.

You might know this one.... http://www.lhr-lgw.co.uk/

Britain is too paranoid/ afraid of giving out data to have an official facility like this.. hence the lack of useful trackers too, although i did get google earth to work with trackers once.
