Hello.
I just got back from OPF. There is a new Aserca DC-9 there, reg N9619. Does anyone know it's C/N and history? Also there is a scrapped hulk of a DO328 there. The owner said it was a Columbian plane. Does anyone know it's reg and history? I greatly appreciate this.

N9619 isn't in the FAA Database, so I can't find any serial number for you. Maybe it is not registered yet. I know NWA sent some of their recently retired DC-9s there, so maybe it is ex-NWA.

Thanks very much. I searched the DB as well. The owner says it is ex-NW. It has the name "Madre de San Pietro".

Has the aircraft been painted their standard silver/red livery or the new SBA Airlines livery? When will it be in Venezuela and start flying?

The airplane is painted in the silver and red livery and looks brand new. It is registered N9619 and it is said to be ex-NW. I do not know when it will fly to Venezuela but if anyone can please supply its s/n and history so I can add it to my logs, it would be great.

Thanks Again!

Okay, thanks. Too bad it is not painted in the SBA Airlines livery as that livery is even nicer and it is also red and silver but much nicer.

No problem. But again, if there is anyone that can provide me with the above it would be great.

Hello everyone. I've figured part of it out. The Dornier 328 is s/n 3076, otherwise known as HC-BXO with Vuelos Internos Privados (V.I.P.). It is listed as stored on planespotters.net and matches the s/n plate. Also, the only other 328's that were registered in Columbia are listed as active. Now just that DC-9!
