What happened to those birds? Thought they operated about 7 of them? Beercans?

Quoting FFlorida (Thread starter):

They had only three, a fourth one already painted awaiting delivery when they ceased operations. The oldest one is 30 years old (ex-LH), the other two 27 (ex-LH) and 26 years (ex-AF) old, and all have been continuously operated. I don´t know what´s going to happen with them. Maybe Air Atlanta or Southern Air might snap them, as they have identical aircraft of the same age in their fleets. Unless they are shortly due for a D-check I assume they´ll fly again.

One of the ex- AF ones (F-GCBF) is in Hong Kong and has been for some considerable time now. The aircraft never entered service with them but is painted in their livery. It is sitting missing 3 engines and looking increasingly dirty. As they do not scrap aircraft in Hong Kong, it will have to be brought back to life to ferry it elsewhere for its final fate.

Do they own them themselves? Or leased?

one sitting on the apron at CDG in front of the cargo area 5 (Fret 5) - was moved there about 6 weeks back after having sat between T1 and T3 for what seemed like a year

It is F-GCBH, another ex-AF B742. It was never delivered to Ocean Airlines and sit on the tarmac at CDG for months :

It was ferried to ORY earlier this year where it is now stored in an all white livery at Air France maintenance.
