Well he should know, but it seems strange since AA code-share partner Swissair operates 3 flights a day from JFK to ZRH and 1 from EWR to ZRH. I guess anything's possible. Was it maybe the restart of ORD-ZRH that was transferred to DFW ?
My definition of cool ? Not trying so hard to be cool.

Hey I have news for you. I'm from Switzerland and I love airplanes very much.
American Airlines will restart the Chicago Zürich service for this summer season, starting on June 1st. This flight will be operated with an Boeing 767 aircraft. The service to Dallas with an 777 is year-around.
Up till now I didn't hear something about an AA Zürich route. I don't know that. Swissair has also a daily Geneva-JFK flight, which is also a AA Code-Share flight. But I hope very much that AA will increase flights to Zürich as a part of the strong relatioceship between SR and AA. Both are great airlines.
Best regards, Mike

No, AA won't start an own JFK-ZRH service. They code share on all NYC to Switzerland services by Swissair: 5 per day. 4 to ZRH and 1 to GVA.
As already somebody said, they will restart the ORD-ZRH flight as a second flight daily: 1 Swissair, codeshared by AA and 1 AA codeshared by Swissair.
