Tonight, when I was working at the boarding gate. We were waiting a 1st class pax. She is late. We can't find her. Our manager said we need to wait. So, flight delay. Finally, we found her and she walked to the gate in normal speed. Not hurry. I am thinking. Because you are F pax so we should wait for you??? 300 paxs need to wait a F pax.One day, I really want to close the door and say to a late F pax "Sorry Sir!You're late."Please wait for next day flight.

On an international flight, there are the baggage issues to consider ... be they a First class pax or not. On a US domestic flight it would be "So sad, Too bad. See ya' on the next flight".

I never wait for late pax... no matter what class they are. 5 minutes before push, we close.
I've never worked international flights for Delta, but I know exactly what Iahcsr is talking about from my AC days. Positive bag match can be a real pain in the ass sometimes. You have to look up the pax's PNR, find out what can their bags are in, and sometimes the ramp guys have to pull a bunch of cans to get to the one they're looking for... it creates a sizeable delay, needless to say.
So you think twice before going to all that trouble.
