The new Riyadh flights are actually 4x a week and the rumoured JED tag on the end has not happened...yet.

Four daily? Is there really that much traffic?

CX web shows 21 per week with a mix of 74A and 333, all 333 are direct flights and all 74A one (CX685/685) and two stops (CX750/751).

It's not even close to 4 daily! Some days may have 4 flights, but overall, CX will have 17 flights / week between DXB and HKG, of which only 10 will be non-stop, 3 via Bombay and 4 via Bombay and Bangkok.

And the flights that go through Bombay are designed to serve the BOM-DXB and BOM-BKK markets; not the DXB-HKG market.

Who cares, 17 weekly with 10 nonstops some with top class new product on 744, sounds great.

For sure - CX is #1 if you ask me - far above all other airlines.

However, the 744s will operate on the flights via Bombay, and all non-stops from Dubai to Hong Kong will be on regional 333s.
