Volcanic Ash In Alaska Affecting Flights

Could be an interesting few days up in the NW. Looks like a volcano has errupted up in AK and earlier today there was a huge sigment out for the NW from WA all the way over to MN from fl360 to fl410 for VA. Had several flight report ash visible but by the time they got into the area they had already descended (planned) to the low 30's. Most said the cloud was now very thin and most likely up in the low to mid 40's. New Volcanic activity report has just been issued and in about 18-24 hours looks like another cloud may make its way over the NW.

Yeah.. Its the Okmok Volcano near Dutch Harbor. Lots of Ash/Sulfer in the air around Alaska. Pretty amazing sights.
