Gulf Air Annouce Upgrades In Europe/Asia

Gulf Air, based in Bahrain has announced several upgrades to routes in Europe and Asia.

Gulf Air will introduce two extra frequencies on the BAH-CDG route on Wednesdays and Fridays. GF020/1 will be introduced into the winter timetable and will be operated by A330-200 equipment. This will mean Paris is served 9x weekly by Gulf Air.

Gulf Air will introduce one extra frequency on the BAH-BKK route on Wednesdays. The new flight will be introuduced into the winter timetable and will be operated by A330-200 equipment. This will mean Bangkok will now be served 11x weekly by Gulf Air.

Delhi will be upgraded from 10x to 14x weekly with the A340-300 operating the new flights. Gulf Air will continue to operate A320 on the other daily service.

Mumbai however will see a downgrade in flights with the route being cut from 3x to 2x daily flights from Bahrain.

Shamshabad (Hyderabad) will also be upgraded with the A321 operating selected flights on days 23457, with the A320 operating alternate days.

I just wish the once rumoured new ZRH route would materialize. It'd be great to see them here, and sinc ethey have a Swiss CEO and their MRO provider is SRTechnics... you never know  Wink
