2nd engine incident on an Emirates aircraft within the last 2 months! Aircraft involved would have been either A6-EKK or A6-EKL. Emirates A310s are powered by GE engines.

Karachi, Mar 4 - Emirates Airbus A-310, flight UAE665 from Islamabad to Dubai, diverted to Karachi International Airport on Mar 2 after reporting that its starboard engine, No. 2, had shut down due some technical fault, according to Civil Aviation Authority sources. The flight departed Islamabad at 0924 hrs with 196 passengers on board. The aircraft landed safely at 1123 hrs. - Lloyd's List Correspondent.
