The DXB flights should connect nicely to flights from/to from smaller cities in India. Best wishes to Jet.

Does the aircraft spend 2,5 hours on the ground at DXB before returning? Does it take long to load cargo and such?

I believe the 2.5 hour halt has more to do with providing convenient timings for passengers than anything else.

Agree...

Morning departures probably don't start until 6am onwards, so what's the point in getting the aircraft back into DEL and BOM at 2am?

2.5 hour halt means a lot of tired and cheesed off crew when you board the airplane in DXB.....

Long wait also means they avoid the busy international terminals/ zoos in BOM and DEL as all flights to Europe are leaving between midnight and 2-3am. Good luck to 9W

Congratulations Jet Airways.

Now, will they be looking for a code-share partnership with Emirates, similar to what they did with Etihad at AUH?

EK is not an easy airline to forge relationships with. They are very selective, if anything at all.

Wait for a few months, insiders at 9W say with more A332's they are going to go double daily to DXB from BOM. This could well be a daytime flight.

This is to take advantage of a prime connecting wave at DXB. The BOM flight will have some tight connections to Europe...

I didn't realize that... Its probably a good time for excellent aircraft utilization too.

That would not surprise me. EK has to be hungry for more connections to India. If they're wise (which they seem to be), they'll work with 9W. I'm not saying as a great partner, but just enough.
