N367SK, a Do-328JET formerly of Skyway/Midwest Airlines, flew into YQG (Windsor, Ontario, Canada) today from an even smaller Ontario airport (YCE, near Grand Bend). That got me wondering: who's operating this aircraft? It was using "N367SK" as its callsign, like a typical business jet.
A Google search shows the aircraft now belongs to a company that seems to be in the business of selling airplanes, called "Livemercial Aviation" or something like that. Are they the ones flying it or is it being leased to someone else?

Quoting JBo (Reply 1): My question for you: was it still in basic Skyway colors (without the titles) or had it been painted into a generic livery?
I wish I knew, but I only heard the flight on my scanner (and saw the flight plan on fboweb).
Quoting JBo (Reply 1): And for those wondering (since it may very well be asked), two other former Skyway jets have departed as follows:
Actually I *was* wondering but forgot to ask, thanks!
The FAA website says that 367SK is under a "temporary certificate", good from yesterday (!) to a month or so from now. That does not exactly make this any less puzzling. The YCE-YQG-YCE trip itself is also a bit of a mistery, though it does bear all the marks of a business-jet type flight.

I have an extensive set of photos of N360SK at MQY prior to it's flight to the Philippines. Both inside and outside shots. When I was on it, it still had ALL the Skyway Airlines stuff on it and in it. That was about a month ago. Now it's gone.
Quoting JBo (Reply 1): 0SK: exported to the Philippines

Yeah, we at ZK fly 2 of their Beech 1900s, N92SK and one other, which I cant remember the reg on. Besides the Great Lakes painted on the outside, the aircraft looks exactly like it did when it was operating with Skyway! You can still read the outlines by the front door "Operated by Skyway Airlines" and the interior looks identical to the pics of N360SK! It was sad the first time I flew on it, but at least the plane has a new lease on life with us, before it is sent abroad in December!

N881SK should be your other Skyway Beech.
I'd take the awe of understanding over the awe of ignorance any day.

The mystery has been solved, at least partially, thanks to Steven, an aviation enthusiast from YYZ.
He contacted me and relayed the following information:
- A number of Do-328Jets have visited Ontario (Canada) in the past 6 months or so for the purpose of (drumroll...) being converted to a bizjet/corporate configuration
- Steven has spotted mostly ex-ACA Do-328s being converted, with N367SK being the only ex-Skyway bird he's seen
- the ex-ACA a/c Steve saw got repainted into a typical white striped bizjet colourscheme, but N367SK was still in the blue colours, but there's no guarantee it didn't get repainted by the time it was delivered to the customer
- the ex-ACA aircraft were mostly getting new registrations in the N328-- format, so we can assume that their new operator is American
