In April PAL will restart regular service to YVR from Manila by way of SFO. It will operate three days/week, with an A340.
PAL has traffic rights between the USA and Canada and fares between SFO and YVR are starting at US$126 roundtrip (incl. all taxes)! The evening departure from SFO has full dinner service, and the return afternoon flight has full lunch service, a marked change from the peanuts and softdrink you receive on AC/UA or AS.
I know that some carriers have traffic rights to third countries, like Royal Air Maroc between JFK and YUL, Kuwait Airways between ORD and AMS, and JAL & Korean Air between LAX and GRU. Fares are generally cheaper on these flights, but they usually aren't widely advertised. Does anybody know if a comprehensive list of such flights exists?
