Hey just wondering with only one flight a day from SEA in the 777 and cuts coming, has anyone heard of the SEA 777 base getting the axe? Just like the 744 base in IAD?

I was told that a DEN 777 pilot base would be much loved by a lot of the guys and if the LHR flight did good, I guess there was talks that were going to be held. Now that the LHR flight is getting the axe as well, has anyone heard if there is still a push for DEN?

Thanks!

Not just the 777 base, however 737 base will be disappearing in the coming months which raises the question about the whole viability of keeping anything SEA at all.

What a/c types are left for UAL pilots in SEA, 777 and 75/76?

Well if they dump the one 777 flight, then that leaves a 767 and maybe A320 base?

737 base

Yes well I left that out becasue it is a known  Wink

I thnk they will keep SEA but just there is no need for the 777 pilot base. Give it to DEN or close it. One flight a day does not need an entire pilot base IMHO.

SEA 737 will close.

SEA 777 base TBD, but not looking good.

DEN 777 base was only a possibility if DEN-LHR stayed year round in the 777, which it will not.

SEA 320 not even on the radar screen at this point, AFAIK.

That's about it in a nutshell....

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss.

Thanks pal! Is the 737 base going to be gone soon? I am guessing the ORD guppy base will be the last to leave?
