Very sad, and very painful. I knew the pilot, and share some good memories of him. He will be missed.  crying

I think it was. Mark (the pilot) let me look at this plane a few times, and he loved this airplane. He also owns a major tow truck company here in the NW, and he was just an awesome guy. We had a truck get stuck in the mud, and he came out to pull us out of it late one evening. When we asked how much it would cost us, he said, "its on the house today!". He was a genuine person, with a big heart. I will miss him, and miss hearing his loud bird flying by. He loved to fly, and he loved his bird. If there is anything positive about this tragedy, he died doing what he loved to do. May he and his son rest in peace.
