A Rare Sight: 2 LH 74s At IAH

Two LH 74s at IAH yesterday, one at the gate, one parked on the tarmac just off Terminal D. Maintenance problem? In any event, I snapped a pic, which I will upload later. Now to stump my brothers by asking them to guess the airport!

This is a rare sight? I remember seeing four LH planes at the same time at IAD in early 2001. Two A340, two 747. That was when I came with an A342 straight out of TXL.

Nope, I went through IAH last night around 6 pm and no LH heavies (the daily to FRA had aready left and the mystery second bird from last Saturday was nowhere in sight).

IAD maybe, but not IAH (Houston)!

Wild guess here, but there is a strike going on at LH which also sees longhaul flights getting cancelled.
However, it is rather unlikely that a flight inbound to FRA would be cancelled, unless the bird underwent contracted mx at IAH prior to fly the next scheduled rotation, as also LH Technik (mx) is participating in the strike.
