Asiana May Start UAE Service

Korean authority have granted Asiana thrice weekly passenger service to UAE most likely Dubai. Closest they have flown to the region was Istanbul in 90's.

Although OZ got rights, I doubt they will start flights to UAE soon. OZ as well as KE have many many rights that are not used. Moreover, too much competition is waiting, against EK and KE.

With KE and EK being partners on the ICN-DXB routing, does one think that OZ will get into bed with EY and establish a codeshare agreement between ICN and AUH?

OK, it was a one-off flight...

They also fly their 744s to Tel Aviv for conversion to freighters.
