Acars.org has been down for a few days ... they suggest

this is a poor substitute

any other ideas on tracking which reg operated a specific flight ?

the other site was quite useful but ACARS is stilll the best

That site is poor and full of errors. Despite me telling him about the problems at least 2 years ago he still hasn't fixed them - he adjusts all the report times to UTC when they've been logged in local time at where ever the source is. This results in most of the tie-ups showing a day out of sync, especially for Pacific flights.
