Not again!!!!!!! I really hope that Boeing can reach an agreement with the machinists. They cannot afford a strike right now, especially since the 787's first flight is in a few months and they've got record orders that they need to fulfill.

I understand the machinists' concerns, but I think they need to realize the position that is in (huge order backlog) and they cannot delay aircraft deliveries further, especially with the 787 delays. Airlines from all over the world want and need fuel efficient aircraft to combat high oil prices and Boeing needs to deliver them.

I don't think thats a concern that the machinists really need to worry about - infact, if anything, its ammunition in their court for a quick resolution.

No, in their position they only must realize their STRONG position in getting a got deal out of it. Too bad, but thats the way it goes...
