 How Many Gates Does DL Have At ATL?

Well I thought it was

T=7
A=35
B=35
D=?

So, in the neighborhood of 77,

B U T

looking at the pics, doesn't look like 35 on A or B

So what is the exact #.

NOTE:
This does not incluse DL connection gates on C or E common use gates.

 I feel woozy....what did you put in that Pudding Pop?

Keep in mind that DL occasionally parks RJs at A&B as well so its not just purely mainline flights.

C & D even though you didnt ask for them.

C = 26 parking slots
D = 22 parking slots (NW has 4 ML gates on D as well)

E has 28 jetways however you will see multiple RJs parked at a gate at times and of course DL does not have exclusive use of E.

Actually, I did ask for D, but WOO 22 on D. I had no idea they had that many. Didn't they give up D when the consolidated into B back in 1991?

Most of D is not DL they have the northern half of the D concorse with the exception being the 3 US gates. The southern gates are NW, CO, AC, FL, ect...

I thought DL mainline had discontinued usage of D, it's now just DL Connection on the northern half.

Here's how it breaks down:

T = 7 gates
A = 30 gates
B = 35 gates
E = 28 mixed use

At any time, supplying that DL has planes at every possible gate (which is never), DL has 100 possible gates to park at in ATL. DL Connection also has in the neighborhood of 40 gates as well.

Sorry should have been clearer DL Connection has the northern half of D.

DLs ATL Ops...

T = 7 (southern half of the concourse)
A = 30 (entire concourse)
B = 35 (entire concourse)
C = 26 parking slots (northern half of the concourse, DL Connection Only)
D = 22 parking slots (most of the northern half of the concourse , DL Connection Only)
E = 28 gates (Common Use)

(NW has 4 ML gates on D as well)

Keep in mind that DL occasionally parks RJs at A&B as well so its not just purely mainline flights. E has 28 jetways however you will see multiple RJs parked at a gate at times and of course DL does not have exclusive use of E.

 Was on a CR7 yesterday (ASA) and we parked at D1a!! Thought that was strictly Airtran country? Airtran 737 parked at D1. When leaving on my connection, another ASA CR7 was now parked at D1. Saw both airlines ground equipment parked at both gates. Whats up with that?

Most of the gates on the south side of D are common use gates.

They have the south side of C with 22 gates of their own that, with a few exceptions, were designed to fit 717s/DC9s so you see most of their 737s using the common use gates on the south side of D.

Just to finish off who has what....

UA has 3 gates in T (North Side)
AA has 4 gates in T (North Side)
US has 3 gates in D (21, 23, 25 the 3 gates that DL does not have on the North side of D)

Note on the south side of D: This is where aircraft seem to park usually as someone indicated D tends to be used very much as common use sooooo things change out of the blue once in a while although CO/NW/AC/F9/YX seem to have been using these same gates for years.
NK D9
AC D11
CO D8, D8A, D10, D12
NW D11A, D13, D14, D16
F9 D7
YX D7

D1A, D1, D2, D3, D4, D5, D6, D15 are common use (FL uses D1A-A6 allot thought) ( I have no idea who uses D15)

All of the international airlines (except AC) use E.
