Sorry should have been clearer DL Connection has the northern half of D.
DLs ATL Ops...
T = 7 (southern half of the concourse)
A = 30 (entire concourse)
B = 35 (entire concourse)
C = 26 parking slots (northern half of the concourse, DL Connection Only)
D = 22 parking slots (most of the northern half of the concourse , DL Connection Only)
E = 28 gates (Common Use)
(NW has 4 ML gates on D as well)
Keep in mind that DL occasionally parks RJs at A&B as well so its not just purely mainline flights. E has 28 jetways however you will see multiple RJs parked at a gate at times and of course DL does not have exclusive use of E.
They have the south side of C with 22 gates of their own that, with a few exceptions, were designed to fit 717s/DC9s so you see most of their 737s using the common use gates on the south side of D.
Just to finish off who has what....
UA has 3 gates in T (North Side)
AA has 4 gates in T (North Side)
US has 3 gates in D (21, 23, 25 the 3 gates that DL does not have on the North side of D)
Note on the south side of D: This is where aircraft seem to park usually as someone indicated D tends to be used very much as common use sooooo things change out of the blue once in a while although CO/NW/AC/F9/YX seem to have been using these same gates for years.
CO D8, D8A, D10, D12
NW D11A, D13, D14, D16
D1A, D1, D2, D3, D4, D5, D6, D15 are common use (FL uses D1A-A6 allot thought) ( I have no idea who uses D15)
All of the international airlines (except AC) use E.
