An interesting note is that United Airlines still OWNS the name "Air Wisconsin", and that is why ZW (since the '90s) has been known as Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation (AWAC). Apparently United owned ZW for a year or two, and when they broke away UAL Corp. still owned the rights to the actual name "Air Wisconsin." What a bunch of bull...lol!
