Hi folks,
As AF ranks among the airlines which I know best I just would like to know who else of you considers himself as Air France expert or fan. I know that the user ID often indicates it already - as mine does - but I would like all like-minded in this forum to manifest.

Sorry, I did not want to say that I knew AF "best" compared to other members of this forum, but compared to other airlines that I know (except for Lufthansa perhaps).
L'Espace180,

An expert maybe not, but I have known AF for 20 years now, as a regular customer. I also used to fly Air Inter aome years ago!!

It's difficult to be an expert when you're all the way in Dallas, but I certainly consider myself a huge fan. I had the great pleasure of working in Passenger Service at JFK during my college summers and it was the best job I ever had.
Jobalas, good luck with your pursuit; I can relate to how you feel about working for AF and I think you've picked a great time to work for them... AF would be very lucky to have soemone with your enthusiasm.

I cannot define myself as an expert but maybe a fan then. AF has been my favorite longhaul airline for over two years now, and everytime I have to choose an airline, I compare it to AF. As a result of this, I'm going up with AF again on next saturday from HEL-CDG-IAD.
Jeez!!! Thats day after tomorrow, better to start packing now...

don´t you think you´re among yourselves!!!
i understand quite a bit however, i´m not that good in speaking by myself.
as a matter of fact, i´ve been to france just today, i´m just living 5 minutes from the border!!!
ok, off topic, sorry.
unfortunately, i´ve never flown on AF, so i cannot judge for myself.
in my opinion, AF is certainly a fierce competitor for and the most important rival to LH and although i´m more pro-LH, i´m glad to see that AF has become so strong again and now, that it has recovered so well from its red years (ok, i know, that´s some time ago) i´m sure AF´s got a bright future.
au revoir, mes amies

Re-bonjour tout le monde,
Me, too, I hoped that AF a340-300E, AF Cabin Crew and all the others who always provide very well-founded information concerning AF would manifest as experts or fans of this great airline.

Bonjour !
I have been reading your thread for a while and was wondering when you were going to call us in.
Well, here I am. I am very proud to have my name mentioned by you and will always try to provide you with information about my great employer, Air France.
I have a big piece of news about myself. I have applied for a position of cabin crew member on the Concorde before that very sad summer date. I was recently contacted by Air France to know wether I was still interested to work on the aircraft should it fly again.
After a positive answer from my part and 2 weeks waiting for their answer I have been accept for an interview with the Concorde people which is a very difficult thing to reach. I have friends with excellent records that were turned down by the Concorde people.
I will go to my final interview on the 13th of March at 1500 and will get their answer a little later.
I hope I will get the job as the Concorde is my ultimate dream.
Wish me luck for next tuesday.

I have been working for Air France since October 1996 and have enjoyed working "sur les ailes de l'hippocampe"...
I would like to wish Jobalas the best of all for his interview for Air France.
I will keep you all informed about my interview on tuesday wether I fail or past it.
