Sorry it has being discussed. Is United dropping or suspending ORD-MEX, since I can´t find any nonstop service effective Sep 2.

Any info is appreciated.

Best Regards,

First of all, thank you for your reply.

Wow, so sad to hear that. UA historic service to MEX has really shrunk over the years. Remember when there where flights from MEX to SJO, GUA, SAL (almost sure) ORD, LAX, SFO and IAD. Well, time and situations change.

Ony 2 daily flights left (SFO & IAD) . As LAX-MEX will only operate 1xweek and the seasonal DEN-MEX.

What a shame.

Best Regards,

Wow, I did not hear about it when it was originally announced... and I did not really see it coming. UA's main hub is ORD after all!!!

Seems the Mexican carriers have this route to themselves now, don't they? If I am not mistaken, AA is only flying once weekly ORD-MEX-ORD. MX has multiple daily flights and AM has two if I am not wrong. Hmmm, this might explain why the price that I found for a flight in August is substantially higher than the average price a few months ago.

As Olli says, UA's share of flights from the U.S. to MEX is shrinking fast!

Next flights: MEX-GRU (AM 77E), GRU-GIG (JJ A320), SDU-CGH (G3 73H), GRU-MEX (JJ A332).
